My resources are abundant.
Many of my creations have been unearthed or acquired from my beautiful, rugged 1840’s farmstead located

CREATIONS

Old metal drum lids, windows, old wood framed beekeeper drawers, barn wood panels - every item an original treasure waiting to be transformed into a one of a kind piece of art. Each and every old or antique item from my farm contains within its very nature millions of artistic possibilities.  I play with paint, melted polymers, Atlantic Oceanside sea shells - you name it - allowing each castaway item to reach its full artistic potential.

Portraits of pets
and people.
Of marmosets,
dogs, children,
uncles and ants.

Not a typo, I will
paint insects:
Maybe not
directly on them.

Recycled farm windows are a fantastic backdrop for my art. My favorite is featured here where I painted a great white heron directly onto the bubbling, original window glass. As you can see, the rustic colors of the Atlantic seaboard add even more character to the already weathered, wooden window frame.  I love how this window now brings shade to a once, very sunny veranda. Hung in just the right place it becomes a beautiful way to add character and charm to an ordinary garden room.

Artistic Recycling Treasure Baskets are also lots of fun because I create with the recipient’s interests at heart. Do you want to give someone you care about a gift no one else can match? Then an Artistic Recycling Treasure Basket is your answer. Tell me about the person you are gifting and I will take it from there. Pick a theme which matches your recipient’s personality. Filled with unique art as well as a surprise or two, my treasure baskets are the perfect gift for the artistic at heart as well as the person who has everything.

Commissioned oil paintings are yet another fabulous, unique gift you can give from Artistic Recycling. Just send me a picture and I promise to integrate my unique perceptions as well as my unusual use of color into your portrait. If you like, I will frame it using wood or other treasures found on my farm. Did I mention I love to work with polymers? You never know where they will turn up either. They could surround your portrait, be part of your Treasure Basket, or surprise you on any unique item I create for you. To place an order or contact me, please click here.
